Originally from Northern Virginia, I spent the first few years of my adult life in York, UK. There I studied International Development and Conflict at University of York’s Post-War Reconstruction and Development Unit.
Since then I’ve been trying to figure out how to be a real grown-up. It’s harder than it looks. I jumped around the NGO world a bit, and eventually landed in retail. I learned a lot and grew a lot – but the time came for something new. While trying to reconnect with my academic roots, I thought I’d go on an adventure. And that’s how I found myself in Botswana as a Peace Corps Volunteer. After 14 months, I headed back to the United States to start the next chapter.
Nowadays I live in Seattle, WA. I’m working on adult-ing, one day at a time.
Let’s see what happens next…
